TIDA Volunteers Assist NPHY

On the morning of October 25, 2017 BLWM attorney Mike Mills and a dedicated group of volunteers descended upon the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) drop in shelter to lend a hand.

The volunteers were in Las Vegas for the 25th annual seminar of the Transportation Industry Defense Association (TIDA).  Whenever a TIDA conference comes to Las Vegas members choose a local non-profit organization to help.  A good time was had by all.

NPHY is not just a standalone shelter or drop-in center, but rather offers a carefully crafted grouping of programs and services that meet homeless youths’ needs wherever they are on their journeys beyond the streets. Together, NPHY’s programs meet homeless youths’ survival needs while building a path to self-sufficiency and success.

The below graphic illustrates how NPHY’s full range of programs work together to meet homeless youths’ emergency needs and help them successfully and sustainably transition out of homelessness.
