Nicole is a Certified Paralegal with almost 20 years of experience in litigation support. She plays a vital role in supporting the firm’s clients and attorneys, helping to achieve successful outcomes in complex legal matters to include some of the largest wildfire cases in the states of California, Oregon, and Washington against parties such as Southern California Edison, Pacific Gas & Electric, Pacific Power, and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. Notable non-wildfire cases Nicole has worked on during her career include Reed v. Town of Gilbert, 576 U.S. 155 (2015), in which the United States Supreme Court clarified when municipalities may impose content-based restrictions on signage, as well as Robertson v. Alling, 351 P.3d 352 (2015) wherein the Arizona Supreme Court held that the clients do not need to consent in writing when the attorneys have apparent authority to settle the case.
Nicole graduated from Arizona State University in 2006 with her Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies, obtained her Certificate of Completion in Paralegal Studies from Phoenix College in 2007, and has received a Certified Paralegal designation through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). During her free time, Nicole enjoys caring for the small menagerie of rescued animals (including a horse and pot belly pig) at her micro-sanctuary as well as hiking, reading, shopping, or just spending quality time with her loved ones.
